Madi Entertaining McKenna.

We told Madi to go crazy one night, this is what McKenna thought of it...

5 Months

Mckenna and Aunt Staci

Mckenna playing with daddy.

McKenna and Lacey.

McKenna @ 5 Months.

McKenna is getting big so fast. She has been rolling back and forth, she loves to play with her feet and talks to her hands. She thinks her daddy and big sister are hilarious.

McKenna's First Thankgiving

Rolling Over

It's rare that you get to capture a "first" on video. I just had to share this with everyone. This is McKenna rolling from her belly to her back on Nov. 11, 2009.

HALLOWEEN

Carving Pumpkins

Madi did not like the guts. Mommy had to finish pulling them out.

However, McKenna liked the guts.....she tried to eat them!

She wanted stars

The finished product

Dads Haunted House

Moms Witch

Snow White and her Apple

Later that night, after baths. I left Mckenna upstairs in our bathroom so she could talk to herself in the mirror. I put Madi to bed and took dirty laundry downstairs. When Adam got out of the shower he called down to me and asked if I had put Kenna on her stomach. I, of course, didn't.....she rolled over all by herself!!!!

First Disneyland trip

We decided this time around, let's do things we don't normally do or see. We did just that and had a blast.

You know your little girl is growing up when she's not afraid of the giant puppets lurking about. We got pictures with Pooh and Rabbit, but, she was most excited to see Tiger! Who isn't.
McKennas first Disneyland ride and Madi's first Mark Twain ride

Madi first ROLLERCOASTER ride, The Matterhorn, and boy was she thrilled!

Madi's castle shot

We all just fell in love with these pumpkins. The gal had some talent!

Home Grown Pumpkins!

My dad decided to grow pumpkins at his moms ranch house after a few failed attempts at his own house. The result.....over 30 different sized pumpkins, from gourds to cinderella pumpkins. The largest one he grew was 55 lbs and 1 oz! He did all of this for his Madisyn. She is pretty lucky to have such a great POP!

Oak Glen and Pumpkin Patch fun!!

Pictures I love

AHHHHH Television

Thank Heaven for "Baby Einstein." That pretty much sums it up. When you have a fussy baby on your hands and nothing will make her happy, plop her in front of the T.V. Will it fry her brain?... Probably, but at least there is peace in the house for a half hour.

I made Seven Layer Gratin which has tons of yellow squash and zucchini and a puree of artichoke hearts ,cheeses, cream and seasoning, you know....everything your typical child won't eat but you make them sit there and try it. Well, I put the bowl in front of her, expecting the whining I get almost every night, NOTHING!!! I didn't think anything of it just knowing that it was coming any second, the whine. As I'm dishing out my plate I ask Adam and Madi how it is and they tell me it's "very good". "GOOD" a word that is not in my daughters vocab when it comes to some veggies. I turn around and Madi has almost devoured her entire bowl of Seven Layer Gratin!! Is it a full moon outside...*Look out the window* nope, Have I died and gone to Heaven...*pinch* nope. I am still here in the house of constant chaos but one good thing....Madi ate all of her Seven Layer Gratin and asked for seconds!!! All is well tonight......we'll see how tomorrow is.

Talking up a storm with Daddy

YEA!!!!! I finally got a video to work. Adam and McKenna will sit forever and talk to eachother this way. You think a guy will never make a fool of themselves......until they have a baby, then it all breaks loose.

3 Months Old!!

I know....I am way behind on posting. Three Months Old, no smiles this time just her serious face but she is still my cutie patootie.

My Little Photographer

While at the Drs. office, waiting to be called in, Madisyn decides she has to go potty. When the child has to go SHE HAS TO GO! So we go tinckle and while in the room she looks at me, it's only been 15 minutes, and says she has to go potty. "AGAIN!" I asked. She then lets me know she's just joking. By the way, the Drs appt was good (if there ever are good Drs. appts.) Madi was being her talkative and witty self that Dr. Mailander and the nurses just got a kick out of her. (Of course beforehand she had an emotional meltdown because she didn't want to get shots when we were only going in for her ear!) Well... it didn't stop there. In the car, on the way home, Madi tells me she has to go potty. I told her I don't understand why she always has to go tinckle and she said because she drinks water. I said "Mommy drinks just as much water as you, if not more, and I don't have to tinckle nearly as much as you." I'm looking at her in the rearview mirror as I 'm saying this and she stops what she's doing, looks up at me ever so slowly and says "Because Mom, WATER makes pee and I drink A LOT of water." I'm not sure where she gets her sarcasm.... maybe I do....I'm thinking from her dad :)

She loves loves loves to take pictures and have pictures taken of her. Who knew, my serious, not smiling at all for the camera baby would turn into such a photogenic little 3 year old. Every time I whip out the camera she wants a picture taken of herself. It doesn't matter if she looks like she climbed out of a pig pen (what kind of mom would I be if I didn't take these pictures) or all dressed up in sparkels and frills, we have to take at least one picture a day.
