Tennessee

My Mom, Mckenna, and I went to Tennessee to visit my sister for a few days for her baby shower. We helped get her nursery and her house together. It took a few days for Mckenna to get use to her surroundings but once she did she loved it their. She loved her "Aunt Sissy" and now every time we talk on skype, Mckenna has to make sure she is right there talking to her aunt. Thanks for the great time Alys. We love you and can't wait to go back in a month!!!

The Dentist

We all know the dentist is not very fun so how do you tell a 4 year old...."There is nothing to worry about sweetie, it is sooo FUN!!! ;) She did an awesome job for her first visit. Of course she would ask everyone who would look in her mouth if it was going to hurt. She even asked the hygenist, who wanted her to do a water rinse, if it was going to hurt. She did so well with her rinse they decided to give her a flouride rinse!

Looking for eggs

"You can't see me"I LOVE both of their faces!!!After the Easter egg hunt"Peek a boo" I LOVE this picture too!! Matthew pushing Madi while Madi steers them both.
She loves to open presents
Easter was tons of fun this year. We started at Cathys house on Saturday. She had delicious food and a huge Easter egg hunt. My girls had a blast. Then Sunday it was off to Adams sisters house for more delicious food, family time, and another huge Easter egg hunt. From there, we went to my Grandpas house where there was more food and more family time. We all had tons of fun and it was great to see everyone at all places!

The new swing set!!

I guess Madi tired of her swing so she decided to relax in Mckennas.

McKenna loving it!

Madi loving it!! I love this picture.

We bought the girls a swing set the other week and they absolutely love it!! McKenna will sit and swing for long periods at a time and Madi is always ouside playing on it. As a mom, I have to say that I love it as well!!

9 Months!

She snuck into the pantry and got into the Cheez its. My Easter Basket! Eating Strawberries for the first time. Going through dads things She always has the cup hanging from her mouth. I guess she thinks she's one of the dogs.Acting silly

I know, I know, Mckenna turned 9 months on the 28th but I'm desperately trying to catch up :) She has been hialrious this month. She learned to shake her head in attempts to say "no." Madisyn and her brush their hair every night together...another post on that, it's so cute. She also learned how to play keep away. If we ask her for something she will pretend to give it to us, when we try to take it she pulls it back very quick and laughs! She's learned different family members names so if you ask her where that person is she will go look for them. She's been introduced to strawberries, oranges, a bite of a chocolate chip cookie :) among some other things. She loves her swing on hers and Madisyns swing set as well as the ones in the park...which she looks so small in. She says "hi" and you can kind of make out "doggy" through the baby talk. It's been tons of fun!!

8 months

Right after she pulled herself up. She was so proud of herself she was clapping.
The biter biscuits...nasty little things!
So it's been a really long time since I have updated this blog. I kept meaning to and every time I would sit down to do it, something else would come up! I now, finally, have the chance and have NO idea where to start so I will just start here. It's been awhile since McKenna turned 8 months old but I figured I should not skip a month. She learned to crawl towards the end of 7 months and she learned to pull herself into a standing position this month. She was also introduced to biter biscuits, cheerios and the little puff cereal for babies. She loves them all and loves that she can feed herself!

McKenna is 7 Months old today!!

McKenna is growing way to fast for us to keep up with. She has the "baby of the family" down pat. She gets anything and everything she wants and if it gets taken away, you better run for the hills. She throws great temper-tantrums and she will test the word "no" from mom, dad, or sister several times before she either gives up or you give in. She is a pro at sitting up and is now working on crawling. Her first tooth popped up January 7th on the bottom front and the one next to it not long after that. She is definitely a mommys girl, which is priceless at times. Mommy is the only one who can put her to sleep at night. When dad tries she cries and pushes away from him toward my direction with the baby talk of....."mamamamamamama." Dad is "dadadadadadada," and everything else for that matter
