McKenna is 7 Months old today!!

McKenna is growing way to fast for us to keep up with. She has the "baby of the family" down pat. She gets anything and everything she wants and if it gets taken away, you better run for the hills. She throws great temper-tantrums and she will test the word "no" from mom, dad, or sister several times before she either gives up or you give in. She is a pro at sitting up and is now working on crawling. Her first tooth popped up January 7th on the bottom front and the one next to it not long after that. She is definitely a mommys girl, which is priceless at times. Mommy is the only one who can put her to sleep at night. When dad tries she cries and pushes away from him toward my direction with the baby talk of....."mamamamamamama." Dad is "dadadadadadada," and everything else for that matter

Madisyns new do

A friend of mine did my hair the other day and in the midst of it she said she thought a "bob style hair do" would be cute on Madi. I have wanted to do something new with Madisyns hair for a long time but just didn't know what. I trusted her expertise and we went for it. I was, however, a nervous wreck once the locks started falling to the ground. Once she started styling it, I could not believe how cute it looked on her. So.......here is a preview of Madisyn NEW DO!!!!

The dreaded Dr. visit

Both of the girls had to get their immunizations a few days ago. McKenna had no idea what was about to happen. Madi, on the other hand, was so stressed out the whole visit. Needless to say, everything went as well as can be expected. Madisyn passed her P.E. and the Dr. was impressed with her social skills. She weighed 32lbs and was 38 1/2in. tall. McKenna is in the 50th percentile on weight and height. She also amused the Dr. with her social skills and how active she was. She weighed 18lbs 4oz and was 26 1/4in. long. We are just thankful they both are healthy!

Woohoo... Goodbye HORRIBLE threes, now onto being four!

Madisyn turned 4 on January 22nd. We can't even believe how fast the time has gone! She is growing into such a beautiful and bright little girl. We are so proud of our Madi Padi face and excited for the next chapter in her life....PRESCHOOL!!!
For her Birthday on Friday, we took her to see the "Toothfairy" movie. Towards the end she had to go to the bathroom so bad she was literally swaying back and forth in her seat. Every time I would say "okay lets go," she would reply, "no mom I HAVE to see the next part." I thought for sure she would tinkle in her panties but she made it through without an accident and was sooo proud of herself. She also got to spend the night at her Grandmas house which she was thrilled about. Then Saturday was her Birthday party. She had a great Birthday and loved everything about it. Thank you everyone!! She absolutely loved every single gift.

Matthew took a whack at it and did very well!
Mckenna playing with her favorite person ever....daddy! She loved all her dress up clothes!

Madisyns Birthday cake. The purse was to big to put on the round and I didn't want to do a 1/4 sheet in fear of to much cake. So there was two cakes. She loved her purse cake!
ROLLERSKATES....oh how we have been wanting these!

Rainy day, or should I say days, blues

At one point the rain was coming down so hard, our drains were having a hard time keeping up with all the water!

Poor girl wanted to go outside so badly to ride her bike. She knows I love to clean windows oh so much, she decided to steam them up and write on them.
Grumpy face.
I think I can, I think I can....we are working on crawling, look out world!
McKenna loves her playpen. She will sit and play in it for hours!
The two of them are just to cute for words!!!Our little drummer baby! She love, love, loves these drum sticks to Adams rockband. Every time we hand them to her, her eyes light up. If you dare take them away she will throw a major temper-tantrum.

Christmas Day

Christmas was so special this year! Madi understood everything that was going on. It was so much fun to see her eyes light up with all the presents, not just from family, but from Santa. There was such magic in the air on that morning and it was such a precious moment!!

AT HOME

Santa brought Madi a bike.
Santa brought McKenna a bouncer.

I think Madi was more excited to get a recorder than a bike. She was screaming and jumping up and down saying "It's like yours dad, I got one like you!!!"

She loved her bouncer and still does.

AUNT NICOLE's and UNCLE CRAIG's

The babies were so much fun to watch together. I think McKenna did all the smiling for both Zoe and herself.

AUNT JANELS and UNCLE RICH'S HOUSE

She could hardly wait to open her gifts. She helped pass out gifts and rounded everyone into the room so she could start.

Kenners got the cutest hat from Aunt Janel and Uncle Rich.
Madi with all her bows and ribbons....gotta love her :)
