Madi Entertaining McKenna.
We told Madi to go crazy one night, this is what McKenna thought of it...

Rolling Over
It's rare that you get to capture a "first" on video. I just had to share this with everyone. This is McKenna rolling from her belly to her back on Nov. 11, 2009.

HALLOWEEN
Madi did not like the guts. Mommy had to finish pulling them out.
However, McKenna liked the guts.....she tried to eat them!
Later that night, after baths. I left Mckenna upstairs in our bathroom so she could talk to herself in the mirror. I put Madi to bed and took dirty laundry downstairs. When Adam got out of the shower he called down to me and asked if I had put Kenna on her stomach. I, of course, didn't.....she rolled over all by herself!!!!

Home Grown Pumpkins!

My dad decided to grow pumpkins at his moms ranch house after a few failed attempts at his own house. The result.....over 30 different sized pumpkins, from gourds to cinderella pumpkins. The largest one he grew was 55 lbs and 1 oz! He did all of this for his Madisyn. She is pretty lucky to have such a great POP!

Talking up a storm with Daddy
YEA!!!!! I finally got a video to work. Adam and McKenna will sit forever and talk to eachother this way. You think a guy will never make a fool of themselves......until they have a baby, then it all breaks loose.

My Little Photographer
While at the Drs. office, waiting to be called in, Madisyn decides she has to go potty. When the child has to go SHE HAS TO GO! So we go tinckle and while in the room she looks at me, it's only been 15 minutes, and says she has to go potty. "AGAIN!" I asked. She then lets me know she's just joking. By the way, the Drs appt was good (if there ever are good Drs. appts.) Madi was being her talkative and witty self that Dr. Mailander and the nurses just got a kick out of her. (Of course beforehand she had an emotional meltdown because she didn't want to get shots when we were only going in for her ear!) Well... it didn't stop there. In the car, on the way home, Madi tells me she has to go potty. I told her I don't understand why she always has to go tinckle and she said because she drinks water. I said "Mommy drinks just as much water as you, if not more, and I don't have to tinckle nearly as much as you." I'm looking at her in the rearview mirror as I 'm saying this and she stops what she's doing, looks up at me ever so slowly and says "Because Mom, WATER makes pee and I drink A LOT of water." I'm not sure where she gets her sarcasm.... maybe I do....I'm thinking from her dad :)

She loves loves loves to take pictures and have pictures taken of her. Who knew, my serious, not smiling at all for the camera baby would turn into such a photogenic little 3 year old. Every time I whip out the camera she wants a picture taken of herself. It doesn't matter if she looks like she climbed out of a pig pen (what kind of mom would I be if I didn't take these pictures) or all dressed up in sparkels and frills, we have to take at least one picture a day.
